Eat and Fundraise with Puerto Vallarta!
We want to establish closer ties with our communities and help support your causes… what better way than enjoying a delicious meal together? Let us eat out, enjoy authentic Mexican dishes and your favorite drinks, and help raise money for your organization, school, or church. Tell supporters, associates, friends, and family to dine in on a selected date and 20% of all event sales will be donated to your organization. A minimum of 75 people from your organization is required. We have 7 available restaurant locations in Connecticut: Avon, Danbury, Fairfield, Middletown, Newington, Orange, and Southington.
Here is what to do:
1. Select a restaurant in one of our conveniently located locations. You want to invite the most people to your event, therefore make sure you find the most easily accessible restaurant for your group. Also, check the restaurant’s requirements to make sure your group size is a good fit.
2. Pick a date. Choose a Monday or Tuesday evening from 3pm to closing on the restaurant’s calendar page when most of your supporters are available. It only takes one minute to request our restaurant fundraiser! Although the minimum window to request our restaurant fundraiser is 14 days in advance, most groups schedule at least 30 days out. Planning ahead helps you as the organizer, your group, and our restaurant to have a successful event, with plenty of time for us to respond to your request so you can start promoting.
3. Set your fundraising goals. Consider how much you would like to raise and how many people you estimate will attend your event.
4. Promote your event. Once the restaurant approves your request, spread the word about your fundraiser! We suggest you use social media, emails, even group text and voice messages. Invite your friends, family, and supporters personally. Let even more people know on social media by sharing your fundraising details. We can post flyers at the restaurant for you and help promote your event on our website, as well as our Instagram and Facebook pages. On the day of the event, remind your group of the time and location, because sometimes people forget.
5. Eat and raise! Enjoy delicious Mexican food, talk, and laugh with coworkers, family, and friends – all while raising money for your cause. Take lots of photos. You can use the images to promote your group’s next fundraiser. Don’t forget to tag us!
6. Pickup your check. After your event, we can schedule a pickup date at Puerto Vallarta. It is as easy as that! Until your next fundraiser, that is.
